Self-catering is offered for a week or for short breaks of between two and four nights). We can provide a housekeeping service for self-catering guests on request for a fee of £140 per week. Your self-catering stay at the cottages will be welcomed with fresh flowers and a pack of local groceries from our local Pembrokeshire suppliers.
Cottage guests staying B&B can enjoy the intimacy of our beautiful cottages as well as a fabulous Welsh breakfast in the main house. Cottages are serviced daily by our housekeeping team.
For the purpose of the Terms of Letting, "The Grove" shall mean Neil Kedward and Zoe Agar trading as the The Grove Narberth and Visitor shall mean the person named in the booking form.
The Cottages are available any time after 3pm on first day of occupation. Guests are kindly requested to vacate cottages by 10am on the last day to allow enough time for cleaning. Change-over day is either a Friday or saturday depending on the cottage, but other change-over days can be arranged on request. Simply contact us to discuss your needs.
A booking for a property becomes firm when a 50% deposit* of the booking are received by The Grove. Up to that time the booking is provisional and will be held for a maximum of two days.
The full balance of the total holiday cost is payable not later than eight weeks before the holiday begins. If the full balance is not paid on time, The Grove reserves the right to cancel the holiday booking, in which case the deposit will be forfeited.
The reservation of a property amounts to making a contract. We advise that you should take out separate holiday cancellation insurance. The deposit is non-refundable, as is the final payment if cancellation is within eight weeks. At the sole discretion of The Grove, the charge may be waived if we are able to re-let the cancelled cottages.
Accommodation is limited to the number of persons for whom the booking is made and the maximum number must not exceed the number stated on the website for the cottage in question. The client may have supplementary guests staying as visitors, but should advise the likelihood of this to The Grove in advance and the numbers must not exceed the occupancy limit for the cottage as stipulated on the website.
For the comfort and relaxation of all guests the Grove is animal free. We can happily advise of local kennels if need them.
Where two parties join together to take a holiday, the booking should be made in one name only.
That person (the visitor) is then responsible for all payments and any damage.
The visitor or members of their party cannot hold The Grove responsible for injury sustained or the loss or damage to any belongings during their stay at any one of the properties.
The Grove and or its agents reserve the right to enter any cottage at any reasonable time for any reasonable cause.
The visitor must keep the premises and all the furniture, fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the booking period (reasonable wear and tear excepted) and shall pay to The Grove the value of any part of the premises, furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged as they be incapable of being restored to their previous condition. Breakages and damage should be reported as soon as possible. Should there be any discrepancy in the service provided within the property this should be intimated immediately to The Grove.
The visitor and members of their party are asked to leave the accommodation clean and tidy. The Grove reserves the right to make a charge for extra cleaning if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition.
Please do not smoke in any of the cottages. *Or any other mutually agreed deposit amount.
